What’s in a Name
The Dew Drop Inn name was inspired by the countless roadside Dew Drop Inn’s across America. It’s a classic name for a classic bar, and the owners of The Wonderland Ballroom wanted to continue the tradition of a place alongside the road for neighbors and travelers to meet to share a drink or a meal and watch the trains go by.
The Dew Drop Inn is housed in a rustic stone industrial building that used to be the workspace for stonemasons and metal workers; today it gives a great view of the CSX, Marc and DC metro tracks. It’s located at 2801 8 Street, NE in Edgewood, near Brookland. It’s right near an entrance to the MBT(bike trail) and the CSX train tracks, and around the corner from the Mess Hall.
We’re open seven days a week, with a traditional bar menu and a happy hour that includes $2 off all draft beers, wines by the glass and all spirits. DJs are featured on Friday and Saturday nights. And don’t miss our monthly Full Moon Freakout specials!
